Barnacle Lamp

Inspiration

These unique, geometric lamps are inspired by the shape of the commensal barnacles. They are comprised of pressed PET felt, made from PET-bottles. These lights make a statement as a stunning installation alongside the Whale Boardroom Table or alone as a ambient display.

Product specifications

The ‘Barnacle’ lamp is available as a single lamp, and is also available to purchase in multiples for ceiling and wall installations

The Lamp shade

• Choose from a dark grey or light grey PET felt
• The PET felt has a thickness of 4 mm
• Approximately 8.3 PET bottles are used to create the small ‘Barnacle’ and 16.6 PET bottles are used to create the large lights
• Cut from one single piece of PET felt, ensuring that there is no waste created from production

The Lamp bracket

• Mounted on sheet steel cover plate, to which the lamp holder and a cable is mounted
• Copper finished steel sheet
• We recommend the use of energy-efficient LED lighting
• The lighting meets the legal CE marking requirements

The ceiling and wall lamps are available in sets of 5 or 9

• MDF-panel (sustainably sourced)
